Game of Wines Episode #32: The End of the Tourney (Part 1)

Show Summary: In this episode we are discussing the first half of Eddard VII.

• Ned has a heart to heart with Robert, who wants to participate in the melee. The king eventually agrees to not fight
• Ned was sooo close to telling Robert about his suspicions surrounding Jon Arryn’s death, but decides that now is not a good time
• Ned sat down to watch the rest of the tourney with Sansa
• Gregor and Tyrell have a joust, but little did Gregor know that Tyrell played a cheap trick on Gregor causing him to lose the fight
• Gregor almost kills Tyrell, but Sandor comes to the rescue and stops the Mountain from doing so
• The Hound wins the tourney!

• The knight of flowers flirts with Sansa, giving her a rose after his victory
• Petyr Baelish introduces himself to Sansa
• Sandor Clegane tells the story of how he got his burns as well as the history with his brother

Game of Wines Episode #30: The Crossroads

Show Summary: In this episode, we discuss Catelyn V. 

• Catelyn has just left Ned at King’s Landing and is travelling back to Winterfell with Ser Rodrick
• They need to stop for the night, so Catelyn suggests they stop at the inn at the crossroads where she used to frequent as a child. 
• They arrive at the inn, disguised as guests who had never been there before in order to hide their identity
• Tyrion Lannister enters the inn, at which point Catelyn calls out all the groups of people at the inn that are loyal to her and her house. 
• She takes Tyrion hostage

Game of Wines Episode #25: The Birth of a Khaleesi

Show Summary: In this episode, we discuss Daenerys III.

• Dany has finally gotten used to the amount of riding she must do as part of the Dothraki horde. She is appreciating all of the beauty of the land and is learning more about the Dothraki ways.
• She commands the horde to stop riding so she can go explore the land. Viserys gets angry that she commanded him to stop. For his punishment, he is forced to give up his horse and walk the rest of the journey
• Jorah and Dany realize that Viserys will not make a good king of the seven kingdoms
• Dany discovers a change in herself
